Brewing Potions

Potions

Potions are used to enhance the stats of cryptures. The brewing system allows players to use their materials and resources to upgrade their teams stats and evolve in the Crypture World.

Alchemy Skill level

Every player has a specific alchemy skill that that levels up as the player gains experience from brewing potions. Level 5 Alchemy skill players gain 2x the potion that they would normally get from each brew.

Alchemy station level

As players level up their alchemy station, they unlock new more powerful potions for their cryptures. To upgrade an alchemy station, players need to add the alchemy station blueprint (found in the store) to the ingredients of the station, and click on Unlock slot. The number of blueprint NFT necessary for an upgrade is equal to the current number of slots the table has. Meaning you will need 3 blueprint NFTs in order to level up your station to level 4.

Brewing Walkthrough

To brew potions, an alchemy station is needed (can be obtained in the store for 2.5k gold, 5k wood, 3k rock). Specific materials are also required for each potion. Each Alchemy station can only be used by the player owning it.

1. Adding ingredients to the Alchemy Station

To add ingredients, head to the Structures section, and select the brew button of the Alchemy Station you wish to brew on.

Before brewing potions, you will first need to make sure you have sent your specific ingredients to your ingredient bag. To do so, click on the Add Ingredients button and select the ingredients you wish to send to the game (doing so will send your NFT to the smart contract and it will no longer appear in your inventory).

Keep in mind ingredients can be retrieved back to the inventory by selecting the Return Ingredients button. Ingredients are also associated to the player and not the station, meaning your ingredients will be maintained for every alchemy station you visit.

2. Start brewing potions

After selecting the potion you want to brew on the specific slot, the ingredients necessary will appear. If all ingredients are in the player's ingredient bag, the Brew button will appear and the player will be able to start the brew.

If the potion you wish to brew does not appear in the drop down menu, your station isn't high level enough to brew it.

3. Claiming the potion

At the end of the brewing cooldown, a claim button will appear in the slot, allowing the player to claim the potion. Level 5 alchemy skill players will earn the potion twice.
