# Economy

### Materials

Players can **earn NFT materials while adventuring** and during **battles**. Categories of materials include: seeds, mushrooms, water bucket, essence of life and raw meat.

### Resources

The resources (Gold, Wood, Rock) have utility to upgrade **Structures** and **Headquarters**, acquiring items in the Crypture Store, paying rent to **Farm** owners and covering other in-game expenses.

Some resources can be part of crafting recipes, for example in **Mines**.

### Crafting System

The **materials and resources can then be crafted into items,** such as brewing potions, growing food and mining ores. Special **Structures** are required to transform the materials into goods: Alchemy Stations, Farming Plots and Mines.

### Game economy

Crafting plays a big role in Crypture World's economy. Players are able to craft different items that are in high demand just like in **MMORPGs**. Crypture World aims to be a **Play-to-earn** game where players can progress by grinding and strategizing wisely to reach the end game!<br>
